Electrical Repairs That Actually Last for Homes, Rentals and Investment Properties
A Quick Fix on an Electrical Repair Usually Isn't
And that's the thing, most electrical repairs that don't stick were bodged from the start. The sparky swapped what was obvious, left the actual cause sitting in the wall and moved on. A few weeks later, same fault. Another callout. Another invoice. Rentals cop it worse because a fault that keeps coming back doesn't just annoy the tenant. It becomes a complaint, then a dispute, then your problem.

Questions Perth homeowners ask about Electrical Repair
What types of electrical repairs do you handle?
Power points, light switches, circuit issues, wiring faults, tripping safety switches, faulty outlets and general electrical problems in residential properties. If it’s electrical and it’s broken, we fix it.
We also get called out for things people aren’t sure about: a light that flickers sometimes, a circuit that trips once a week, a faint burning smell near the switchboard. Those are still electrical repairs, they just need proper diagnosis before the fix. Don’t wait until it gets worse.
How quickly can you get to me?
For standard electrical repairs, we usually book within a few days and most jobs are done in a single visit. If you’ve got something that can’t wait, sparking, burning smell, exposed wiring, tell us when you call and we’ll treat it as an emergency electrical repair. Those get prioritised.
We don’t promise a magic number on response times because it depends on where you are and what’s already booked. But we’ll give you an honest timeframe on the phone and stick to it.
Will you fix it on the same visit?
That’s the goal. Most electrical repairs get diagnosed and fixed in one go. We carry common parts, switches, power points, circuit breakers so if it’s a standard fix, it happens on the spot.
Bigger jobs sometimes need a follow-up. If the diagnosis uncovers something more involved such as old wiring that needs replacing, a switchboard issue, damage behind a wall, we’ll explain what we’ve found and quote the next step separately. Nothing happens without your say-so.
Do I need to know what's wrong before I call?
No. That’s literally our job. Just tell us what you’re noticing, the power point doesn’t work, the lights flicker when the oven’s on, the safety switch trips every few days. Whatever it is, describe what’s happening and we’ll take it from there.
Half the electrical repairs we do start with “I’m not sure what’s wrong but something isn’t right.” That’s plenty for us to work with. We diagnose it on site and walk you through what we find before quoting anything.
How much do electrical repairs cost?
Depends on what’s wrong. A faulty power point swap is the cheaper end. Tracking down an intermittent wiring fault that’s buried in a wall costs more because the diagnosis takes longer.
We quote everything upfront after the diagnosis. Fixed price, no call-out fee, no hourly rate that keeps ticking. You’ll know exactly what you’re paying before we pick up a tool and the price won’t shift once we start.
